i bought a brand new
alternator from a local dealer in Ipoh,Perak,Malaysia and was told that it carries a one year warranty,fixed it to my mercedes benz but it caput after a few months. It started to give out loud grinding like noises and the red light comes on indicating no charging.The dealer who sold the item said that he has to send to Bosch authorised agent in
Kuala Lumpur for repair and after almost two there was no news. Finally when I told him that I am going to take
legal proceedings, I was given a new
alternator. What alarms me is whether
Bosch products are that inferior in quality and reliability.My car was without a
alternator for almost two months i.e. deprived of usage of the car.Can someone in Bosch Company highlight what had gone wrong?
