One of the things that this experience has taught me is that you should NEVER turn on a Bosch dishwasher before leaving the house or going to bed. When operating these machines, make sure that somebody is home and in close proximity to the unit in case it decides to burst into flames!

| 1. Written by Linda King, on 30-03-2009 09:37 My sister turned on her bosch and left for work on 3/28. Her house was on fire 1 hr later. She and her husband will not be able to live in the house for months. The kitchen is completely gone and the rest of the house has been compromised with smoke etc. Her upstairs bathroom is gone, etc. She had gotten the letter and called but they said her machine was not on the recall list. I guess they were wrong. |
