We have had the washer less then six months and have since discovered it was Damaged from the Factory to begin with. The bottom of the front load door was cracked and the Gassket was also cracked and the face plate also cracked in two places.
we have been calling Customer service since late December and still have not had good service and back order on two of the Parts. would not recomend this company at all.
First you are on hold for more then a half hour and then the time it takes to get a day when they will show up only to find the service man does not have the first part with him even after you tell them what is wrong with the Gasgett to begin with when you made the Appointment.
Second appointment he does install door Gasgett only to find out the Door is Cracked and also the Face plate so he said will order and they will call when they come in. I waited 3 weeks with no call back from Customer Service and so i called them and was on hold again for more then 30 minutes only to find out one part had been in but she knew nothing about the other. She made another appointment and the morning of the Appointment they called to say the part was damaged and they would have to make another appointment.
I was So mad and i had them call the service Man and make sure they were going to reorder Both Parts and now it has been two weeks and i called again yesterday and the parts i am told are to be here next week and then i have to make another appointment to have them installed.
Do not buy this product. Stay American. We are a vary unhappy Bosch Customer.

I called the Customer Service at BOSCH and they told me that is was cosmetic, "but it's a clothes washer and it uses water, "it's cosmetic", they said. Sears came in and replaced it since it was under a year old. Now 9 weeks later the new door cracked, again, in the very same spot. We payed good bucks for this brand and their customer service at BOSCH, is very uncooperative. Also, I another negative on this model is that it will not spin on small loads, and also bigger loads. It has be be just right.....What a pain! UNHAPPY PURCHASED. I hope that I don't have to buy new doors very 3 months, at $550, for a door for replacement. |
| 2. Written by germaine, on 07-08-2009 23:01 I purchased the Bsch Nexxt 500 series front load washer 14 months ago. It has been repaired 2 times and Bosch refused to repair it two times. The problems are, the compartment for the detergents fills up with water each time I wash (Bosch does not is not considered a need for repair and refuses to fix this) On two occassions the washer wouldn't spin and was repaired both times. At that time I asked for a new washer. Now, two months after the last repair, water is leaking out of the bottom of the machine. Each repair took 1 1/2 weeks. Bosch and Lowe's, where I purchased this, refuse to replace my washer with a new one. To top things off, even though I purchased the Lowe's extended warranty, I have to pay for the repairs myself, submit for a reimbursement from Lowe's and wait two months for a refund. This Bosch washer is the worst product I have ever purchased. Thankfully, it's the only appliance I have or will purchase from Lowe's. |
| 3. Written by , on 07-07-2009 23:53 As A professional serviceman of 30+ years, I see his problem simply; i.e., his appliance was dropped during shipping, NOT by Bosch, but by delivery. You see, It's heavy! 2nd Problem: Experienced service people like myself are as rare as UF6, because anyone experienced and knowledgable enough to perform a repair, would better serve himself by doing something easier. 3) These new commercial style machines are really great. Except for consumer mistakes and clogged filters, they last far longer than the stuff we grew up with. |

| 5. Written by ProudMama, on 12-03-2009 16:08 The only thing I can say is wow... Bosch is an amazing, and not exactly cheap, brand I only wish that I could afford. I find it absolutely disturbing that someone with such atrocious spelling and grammar skills can afford such a product. |

Written by skyfishintampa, on 23-06-2008 23:00 bosch is engineered in germany, but built in USA, get your facts before typing what you don't know. i bought a bosch washer and dryer, not top of the line, and have been very happy with them both, our water bill went down and the dryer dries clothes in half the time as our old one did, which was a maytag. |
