Bosch - Dishonesty about shipping, failure to deliver

Bought 3 Bosch products (dishwasher, cooktop and oven) in November 2023 and after 11 weeks the dishwasher and cooktop arrived. The ship-date for the oven has been moved out 4 times: it's now at the very end of April 2024.

It's a built-in, so our counters cannot be completed, and we cannot order a different oven since the cabinet was custom-cut for the Bosch oven. So we will have spent another $4,000 in rent living elsewhere because we cannot move into the house due to this delay.

Every time we inquire about the status of the last ship date they gave us, we learn that it will be another month! Additionally, Bosch threatened us with losing the rebates we were supposed to get from buying a package of three items if we didn't submit the Serial numbers in time...how does one provide a serial number for a product they have yet to deliver?!!

User's recommendation: Unless you have a functioning kitchen and are buying free-standing appliances that can just be switched out when the Bosch product finally arrives, don't ever consider them. Completely unreliable delivery, and worse completely dishonest with the delivery dates they provide.

After much research and consideration, we decided to invest in what we believed to be a top-quality appliance, Bosch's $2,000 benchmark dishwasher, touted as the best dishwasher one could possibly buy. Our excitement quickly turned to frustration when, within just 30 days of purchase, the dishwasher ceased to clean dishes on the bottom rack effectively.

Promptly reaching out to Bosch for assistance, we were hopeful for a swift and satisfactory resolution. A technician was sent to our home, who then proceeded to suggest that the issue stemmed from our misuse of the appliance, advising us to "properly" load the dishwasher and to use the "correct" soap. It was disappointing and somewhat insulting, as we had already been diligent in following the manufacturer's recommendations, even going so far as to watch instructional videos prior to use.When the initial advice failed to rectify the issue, the technician returned, ran several tests, but was unable to diagnose the problem. Parts were ordered, and we were assured that the repairs would be completed in a couple of weeks.

However, nearly two months have passed, and we've been informed that the parts are on backorder with an undetermined arrival date.Throughout this ordeal, we sought a replacement appliance, only to be met with difficult technical support and no viable solution to our predicament. The level of customer service has been deeply unsatisfactory, especially considering the significant investment made in what we assumed would be a high-quality, reliable product. I am sharing this experience to caution potential buyers. It was our belief that purchasing a more expensive, supposedly superior product from Bosch would ensure a long-lasting, problem-free experience.

Unfortunately, this has not been the case. The product quality and customer service have both been incredibly disappointing, and I would advise against making the same mistake we did.

I am telling you, dont ever DONT EVER buy Bosch. We tried a dishwasher after decades of GE only because they had a color we wanted. Very expensive dishwasher has been down for THREE WEEKS and we are getting NO ANSWERS, JUST RUNAROUNDS. We are beyond angry. Their CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST. They dont give a crap about their customers. Very VERY expensive MISTAKE.

Hello,

I would like to share the story of the prpblem regarding Bosh Fridge Freezer. We have brought Fridge-Freezer KAD93VBFP SBS in Lithuania from supplier Baitukas and Partneriai .

Fridge - Freezer at the beginning was working fine but later on we noticed strange cracking sound, but we thought it is coming from the Freezer and its normal.

Recently we noticed some products in the Fridge was frozen which were kept at the back of the shelves (near the back of the Fridge wall) and ones we investigated further we have seen cracks on the back wall of the Fridge (please see attached photos). We noticed this after few months of the warranty has ended. A supplier in Lithuania who sold the Fridge Freezer refuses to help. I think its factory defect and maybe there are more same cases.

Normally Fridge Freezers can last longer than 2 years.

We are disappointed. I have complained to Bosch but received response they decided not to act upon my problem.Looks like sustainability does not matter for the Bosch manufacturer.

Bosch promised to replace a defective dishwasher a year ago which they still haven't done. Their customer service is so bad. They called me to select a new model then called me back and said they changed their mind. The circulator pump melted under the dishwasher and they just want to change the pump without finding out what the problem is which is likely a faulty heating element. On top of that the the technician insulted me. I know he is a diehard member of the proud boys. but still sending neo *** to my house?

I purchased 2 top of the line Bosch 800 series crystal dry dishwashers from Bosch about 1 year ago. 1 has cleans ok (not great but ok).

The other has not cleaned properly since it was purchased. Bosh originally said that the heating element was bad and had it replaced. It still does not work. I have spent dozens of hours on the phone with Bosch trying to get it serviced.

I was told that they do not service my area (Main Line Philadelphia) and that I need to have an authorized provider fix it but their providers are booked and will not service it. After more calls to Bosch, they said they arranged to have their provider come fix it, but I never heard back. I followed up and was told service would be scheduled but again it was not. This has been going on for months.

On Friday, I received another copy of a email from Bosch approving the "discount" or my appliance repair and stating the customer case number and servicer phone number, but the servicer said that Bosch never sent them dispatch authorization. I can not reply to the emails because they are sent from no reply addresses. This is not the first time this has happened. I am now stuck with a defective built-in $1,200 dishwasher and have spent an insane amount of time and energy trying to have it fixed.

Incredibly disappointing. No NOT buy Bosch.

Crap Bosch Over the Range Microwave

DON'T BUY BOSCH APPLIANCES! I have a HMV3053C Over the Range Bosch Microwave that has an August, 2017 manufactured date.

The Microwave was purchased in 2019 and first used in October 2019. I went to heat up my coffee, opened the door and heard an electrical surge just from just opening the door. I turned all of the breakers on and off but the microwave never came back on! I looked up this issue online and it is an issue that I saw mentioned in some forums and read that it would cost as much to repair it as buying a new microwave.

I called the Bosch customer service and they gave me the cost of a service call and the labour for the repair not including the cost of the parts which confirmed what was said in the forum about repair cost. I asked customer service if they could stand by their product since the microwave is so expensive and not that old and I got an absolute NO that they would not stand by their product. I was under the impression the Bosch brand of appliances was a reputable brand that would last for many years since the prices of this brand are highly priced. This is not the case.

I've hand $100 microwaves that have lasted many years past a Bosch brand microwave! Never again will I buy any appliance from this brand! Don't waste your hard earned money to buy the so called great brand Bosch.

This is absolutely not the case and the customer service is also crap like the appliances. DON'T BUY BOSCH APPLIANCES!

I purchased a Dishwasher from Bosch in 2019. It worked perfectly until September 2021 when it died.

I pulled it out from the wall and discovered the water ciruclation pump had melted. To make matters worse the tech Bosch sent out insulted me by calling me a cat lady. Bosch said they would replace the dishwasher. Now they want to send someone to fix the pump (that melted without fixing why it melted).

Bosch is the punk version of customer service. We all get it Covid sucked. But really Bosch?

Bosch promised to replace the dishwasher. I have the email Bosch.

Then they reneged. Now they want to replace th circulator pump without trying to figure out why it melted in the first place.

I have now been without a dishwasher for a year and a half.

Bought a Bosch brand mixer. The plastic inside the MFQ4080 product melted after a short time.

We called customer service and there was no response. The product set aside without being used for a long time. Later, we filed a complaint explaining my situation on ŞİKAYETVAR.com. Even though the product had a warranty, they told us that there were no parts, and it could not be repaired.

We said okay, give a refund. This time they sent a service to look at the broken part of the product. The service took his photo and left. Almost 2 months have passed.

They said they would give us a refund and hung up the phone. A refund was made 1 day later. (OF COURSE, THIS PROCESS TAKEN MORE THAN A YEAR IN TOTAL). Of course, after the refund was made during this process, I threw the product away because it did not work in my hand.

They called on Thursday and said there would be a refund. It was refunded on Friday. I received a message saying that They will come and pick up the product on Monday. CUSTOMER SERVICE DID NOT MENTION THAT THEY WANT THE PRODUCT BACK.

IF THE COMPANIES'S PLAN WAS TO TAKE BACK TO PRODUCT ALSO, WHY DIDNT THEY TELL US BEFORE. You say, You will send a service person to my door and pick up the product." But "I don't have the product. It's in the garbage. YOU ARE VICTIMIZING US AND YOU ARE BEING RUDE.

YOU ARE ALSO REFUNDING A PRICE BELOW THE MARKET (which was one of the expensive ones on the market when we bought that. With the money you gave I can not buy a simple one)

Spent £500 on a fridge freezer 3 years ago. Died literally over ight without warning. Full of food which had to be transferred to shed. Terrible after 3 years and high price. BOSCH is an awful, unhelpful company who don't care about customers, they want you to spend more money with them 9on inspectors and engineers. My answer is No... I'll never buy BOSCH again, they won't get another penny out of me. No wonder their reasons are low

Refrigerator ModelB21CT80SNS/01. FD9802. 000194.

Complaint: This refrigerator was in the home I purchased. I have had at least 3 service calls for this so-calledd "high end" appliance.

The last one was for freezing the food in the vegetable and other bins. Some draining issue found. to the tune of almost $300 in November, 2023. Same thing occurring today, my birthday on top of it!

Will need repair call which will take a couple of hours and who knows how much cost. Am seriously considering purchasing a new refrigerator and you can be sure it will not be a Bosch.

Am also considering a new dishwasher. I had a Bosch before and I loved it, but am now hesitant because I do believe that the quality of your appliances is not what it used to be.

Planned obsolescence seems to be the byword.

The repair person never showed up! The appointment was for today between 8 am-12 pm and he was supposed to call this morning or last night to give a more specific time. No call. This is the second appointment scheduled. The first appointment was canceled by bosch because the repair person called in sick.

Dishwasher that is under warranty and not working

Our dishwasher that we bought in April 2023 stopped working properly in November 2023. We contacted BOSCH Customer Service and they sent a tech to repair it.

It was not properly fixed and they had the same tech come to our home another 2 times. Each time it seemed that issues escalated.

We have not been successful in speaking to a management person to get this resolved.

We paid $1500 for this dishwasher that we have not been able to use since November.

We have all of the emails and communication documented.

We want the dishwasher replaced as it should have been after the first attempt at repair.

Reference #410399**** - there are many phone call from us to BOSCH CustomerService which as I understand it are all recorded .

First year we purchased refrigerator the ice maker kept freezing up. Service person told us its because we dont use enough ice. We use ice daily. Cubes were coming out crushed. Seal on door is terrible. 2 years later refrigerator continually knocks because it freezes up. Water/ice dispenser broke. Cost to repair is $800. Also, hard to find service people.
