Their customer service is useless. They tell you to have the tech call their factory if they can't figure out an issue, but if the issue is at midnight, how are they supposed to call a tech at that hour?
The boiler is three years old and I am $4000 into it, and they refuse to even consider financial assistance. Do not use their products!

Verified ReviewerI am having an issue with my dishwasher
Hello. After completing the washing cycle, foam remains at the bottom of my dishwasher.
I live in Kenya and here we don't have a Bosch service center. All repairs and services are performed by the company from which I purchased my machine. Their representative technicians visited my home to check for problems but couldn't find any. My dishwasher was even taken to their workshop, inspected, but they couldn't determine why the foam is not draining with the water.
They changed the pump motor, checked for any possible sewage blockages - everything is ok.
However, the foam is still there. Please advise what could be the cause of this and how to solve it.

Good afternoon. My call to your center was cut so I couldn't describe and get an advise to my problem.
I am using my washing machine for a few months now and on completion of washing cycle on the bottom remains the foam.
As I am from Kenya, here we don't have official Bosch company and all the services are done by the company whom from I purchased my machine. Their representing technician have visited my site several times and machine was even taken to their workshop but it's simce not clear what the problem is. They changed the pump motor but the problem is still there.
Please advise me, what the problem could be. Thank you.

I bought a whole range of new Bosch appliances. The dryer started rusting on the body immediately.
It also stopped working after about 15 months. It would overheat about 30 seconds into any drying cycle, only working on no heat/fluff mode. We clearly received a defective product with rust all over the body, including the interior.
The field technician offered no solution, just wanted money from us to fix it. We asked, 'How are you going to fix a rusty body?' We wanted a replacement/exchange, but received zero response.

First, the instruction manual only included a quick version which didn't explain details or how to change settings (and didn't match options on equipment). I tried calling support and the recording said there was less than a 10 minute wait- 30+ minutes later, I hung up.
Then, I tried calling again; still, it was a 25 minute wait, so I hung up. I then called corporate - they didn't care, said that's all she has. I then called back and managed to talk to someone. I gave 2 stars because he was actually helpful.
As much as these dishwashers cost, you'd think they'd treat customers better.
Ooh! I am very annoyed and frustrated.
Nobody answers the phone at bosch power tool
Several months of calling I never got to talk to a person for bosch power tools. The only way to talk to a live person is to call their appliance repair line so if you're calling to schedule a time fit them to come out and get paid to fix their product they will not answer...I didn't just call once or twice I have tried to contact them for over 4 months hours and hours on the phone waiting with out one person answering. I have been a bosch customer for over 30 yrs and if I had experienced this 30+ years ago...I would have never bought another bosch tool
Terrible quality
Purchased new home 6 years ago equipped with Bosch appliances after 2 years I my microwave went out had to purchase a new one
After 4 1/2 years my refrigerator went out and I had to buy a new one
Now after 6 years my oven went out

Cook top defective
Purchase of a Bosch HEI8054 cooker. After 5 years the front control starts to fail and Bosch Canada cannot do anything for us the part is not available and an error 01 appears and the cooker no longer works.
I paid more than $3000 and after 5 years it is no longer usable and cannot be repaired so never purchase Bosch appliances again. Because it's too expensive, unreliable, no spare parts!

I purchased a product a couple of years ago and have not had a problem until now. My tankless water heater is giving off an electric shock and when contacting customer service, I'm not able to get through to anyone.
I get hung up on, and it keeps referring me to the website.
I'm not very computer savvy and I'd rather speak to someone about my issue. I don't have a receipt because the unit was given to me as a gift, so I'm not able to provide one, but I need the issue resolved.
Preferred solution: In contact with somebody as to why my unit is sitting on an electric shock no issue has been resolved and I have been not been able to speak with anyone.
User's recommendation: Just make sure you know how to use a computer cuz you're not able to contact anyone by phone
Bosch Appliance Service Plan - Do Not Buy
Bought warranty and then they told me I had to pay for service call and repair. Blamed me for putting food in dishwasher which we never did. Do not buy any warranty from Bosch as they will look for anything in the legalese to disqualify you and hit you up for service calls or have you pay for expensive repairs with no warranty coverage.

Every single Bosch appliance in my kitchen has broken in only a few years of us
Oven , microwave , and dishwasher and cooktop has broke and ended up getting a new brand definitely not Bosch and its so sad because we payed a lot for all of them way overpriced but thought they were good products

After much research and consideration, we decided to invest in what we believed to be a top-quality appliance, Bosch's $2,000 benchmark dishwasher, touted as the best dishwasher one could possibly buy. Our excitement quickly turned to frustration when, within just 30 days of purchase, the dishwasher ceased to clean dishes on the bottom rack effectively.
Promptly reaching out to Bosch for assistance, we were hopeful for a swift and satisfactory resolution. A technician was sent to our home, who then proceeded to suggest that the issue stemmed from our misuse of the appliance, advising us to "properly" load the dishwasher and to use the "correct" soap. It was disappointing and somewhat insulting, as we had already been diligent in following the manufacturer's recommendations, even going so far as to watch instructional videos prior to use.When the initial advice failed to rectify the issue, the technician returned, ran several tests, but was unable to diagnose the problem. Parts were ordered, and we were assured that the repairs would be completed in a couple of weeks.
However, nearly two months have passed, and we've been informed that the parts are on backorder with an undetermined arrival date.Throughout this ordeal, we sought a replacement appliance, only to be met with difficult technical support and no viable solution to our predicament. The level of customer service has been deeply unsatisfactory, especially considering the significant investment made in what we assumed would be a high-quality, reliable product. I am sharing this experience to caution potential buyers. It was our belief that purchasing a more expensive, supposedly superior product from Bosch would ensure a long-lasting, problem-free experience.
Unfortunately, this has not been the case. The product quality and customer service have both been incredibly disappointing, and I would advise against making the same mistake we did.

No e-gift card received but I submitted all information
We bought a year's supply of contacts which earned us a $100 gift card for Nordstrom's.
Everything worked well until time to receive the E-Gift card.
It was promised within 3 days on 9/19/2024. It has not been received as of 10/2/2024.
It is to be sent to tressvm@***.net.
Nothing has been received in our inbox, junk mail or spam folder.
Called customer service three times. It was promised to be sent to us again on 10/1/2024.
This is the 3rd try. So far, nothing has been received.

I bought a Bosch dishwasher 6 months ago. It had to be replaced right away because the detergent table wasn't dissolving.
I had the second dishwasher professionally installed by a plumber. Now it's not removing food from my dishes. Bosch says that it wasn't installed properly. Apparently the product is SO finicky that the drain hose needs some special product that has to be cut into my granite countertops.
This is the WORST dishwasher I spent SO MUCH money on. Both times, Bosch tried to blame the installation, but if it's so hard to install they need a better product.
It's not the installation. They have a terrible product.

The slider for one of the freezer shelves fell out, causing my freezer to stop working because it was no longer properly sealed. Nowhere in the manual did it show where to install it and, through trial and error, I finally stuck it somewhere, and the freezer began working again.
I then tried to use Home Connect, but the instructions in the manual were incomplete. So, I called customer service and waited 45 minutes to talk to someone. Finally, she came on the phone and, after three failed attempts, told me my internet wasn't strong enough. After the five-minute call, I decided to try it on my own and was able to figure it out.
Customer support like this is unacceptable. Incomplete instructions are inexcusable.
The shelf does not glide, so I probably have it in wrong, but I don't know how to fix it. And I don't know who to call for answers.
