Bosch dishwashers have a major defect! Know before you buy.

Bosch keeps selling them without fixing the problem. Bosch dishwashers have a defective detergent dispenser (does not dispense) and also a defective Jet Dry rinse aid (it leaks out). Just talked to Bosch; they want to send someone to fix it at my cost. Ha!

Bosch owes it to consumers. Fix your defective dispenser before you sell your product. Oh myGod!

I will not purchase another Bosch. Next, BBB.

Preferred solution: I expect the company BOSCH TO FIX THE DEFECT. IT IS WRONG TO JUST KEEP SELLING THE BOSCH DISHWASHER WITH THAT DEFECT. MAYBE THEY JUST DO NOT CARE! CONSUMERS CARE!!!!

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product replacement. The new dishwasher was replaced by the dealer and they will be contacting Bosch to work out any details.

The dealer went above and beyond on Customer Service and Satisfaction. Maybe Bosch will learn from this experience.

No Contact from Bosch ever.

This is my second attempt to resolve the issue with my new purchased 5/05/25 Dishwasher SHP78CM4N. It has never worked once installed other than the test the installer made be fore leaving.

They have referred the information back to the store where I purchase it, They then came to make a repairs a week later, only to find out it didn't fix any issue and needed to order a new part which they are still awaiting for on 6/10/25. I had sent Bosch a email on the original problem with no reply.

I am pushing to get a NEW DISHWASHER that works or a refund and removal of the BAD one. I would appreciate any reply acknowledging they understand and will take action.

If you want to have your dishwasher burn down your home buy a Bosch

My mother bought me a $750.00 dishwasher many years ago when I bought my home. This was a top of the line dishwasher.

It was whisper quiet and worked perfectly. The dishes came out squeaky clean. I kept getting registered letters to my residence from Bosch saying that needed to send a repair man to my home to repair the Bosch dishwasher. I called them and said, why would I need this, when it works well.

Never once would they tell me the truth nor would the repair man. The repair man came to my residence and worked on the dishwasher and left. The dishwasher no longer cleaned my dishes. The dishes were never dry and came out loaded with water and still dirty.

I called Bosch and said what have you done to this dishwasher, as it no longer cleans the dishes? They sent the repair man back out. Once again, the dishwasher failed to work like it did before. I called Bosch and told them you owe me a new dishwasher.

After the repair man destroyed the cleaning ability on my new dishwasher they said sorry, not going to help you. I had to find out from someone other than Bosch or the repair man, what was happening to peoples homes as a result of the dishwashers. They were burning down to the ground. On Monday I am calling a radio station in Denver called the Trouble Shooter.

KHOW radio in Denver. I am going to let people know how Bosch treats their customers. So, if you want to be treated poorly, buy a Bosch dishwasher.

I can not wait to give them thousands of dollars of bad publicity. Then, I am contacting all the major television stations to let them know too.

Defective product and they didn’t repair

Deceived by their technical support and customer service! I bought a wash-dryer 950 that was defective since day one, and they sent me their repair technician to say that nothing is wrong with it.

After 4 years, I have to pay for the repair!

And they don't accept their fault! Stay away from this brand!

There are circles of shadows that are coming thru the door front as if holding it in place , its a factory defect , its not like o can get in between the sheets of stainless and drawer them , I had months of pictures and service guy here and all bewildered and the door s should be replaced , as I will be looking at this gracing my kitchen with the beautiful cherry cabinets try I have , Julie just couldnt help and then told me to buy some new ones as directed , which I dont know where she gets that in from,,,

Terrible customer service on the appliance repair service plan

My oven has not been working for over a month. Repair man came in may to replace the main board and the temp sensor.

When he left the bake element was no longer working. I had to wait another two weeks and when the date came the repair man told me that they had sent another main board and temp sensor and not a bake element. (I had called two days before to make sure that they were sending the bake element and they assured me that they would. 2 more weeks passed and yesterday the repair man said that he did not have the part and would have it by today.

Well, he didn't and said that he would have it tomorrow.

In the meantime I asked Bosch to escelate the repair and they said they would, twice, and no one called me. I have an appt for a week from now...let's see what will happen...The oven is 3 years old and I have had 3 breakdowns already.

Bosch…..Deteriorating quality

All the appliances in my house for years have been Bosch. I have never had problems with any appliances until the ones I purchased about 18 months ago.

At that time I purchased a microwave, a refrigerator and a stove. The microwave, so far, works fine; however, I have had problems with both the refrigerator and the stove. The icemaker will not work and gives me an error message of E2 which means I need to replace the compressor. The stove has a drawer at the bottom that toggles when you touch it with your foot and to open and close it.

That drawer has never been abused, but for some reason it either wants to stay shut or will finally open when I get down on hands and knees and pull it. Because of the Bosch reputation, I thought purchasing a warranty was simply a waste of money. I guess that is no longer the case, and I probably will, in the future, avoid buying the Bosch brand of anything. I am not about to pay $400 or so to have a new refrigerator repaired or $200 to have a stove drawer repaired.

I paid enough for each of those that they should certainly work with no problems at all at least for the 18 months I have owned them. I bought all my appliances at Famous Tate in Land O Lakes, Florida.

Hello. After completing the washing cycle, foam remains at the bottom of my dishwasher.

I live in Kenya and here we don't have a Bosch service center. All repairs and services are performed by the company from which I purchased my machine. Their representative technicians visited my home to check for problems but couldn't find any. My dishwasher was even taken to their workshop, inspected, but they couldn't determine why the foam is not draining with the water.

They changed the pump motor, checked for any possible sewage blockages - everything is ok.

However, the foam is still there. Please advise what could be the cause of this and how to solve it.

Good afternoon. My call to your center was cut so I couldn't describe and get an advise to my problem.

I am using my washing machine for a few months now and on completion of washing cycle on the bottom remains the foam.

As I am from Kenya, here we don't have official Bosch company and all the services are done by the company whom from I purchased my machine. Their representing technician have visited my site several times and machine was even taken to their workshop but it's simce not clear what the problem is. They changed the pump motor but the problem is still there.

Please advise me, what the problem could be. Thank you.

Poor customer service

Purchased new refrigerator 01-20-25. Called 03-10-25 due to freezer malfunction.

Tech not scheduled until 03-21-25, then had to order part.

Tech scheduled 04-04-25 replaces part and informs us that we have a leak in refrigerator. Puts us in for replacement. On 04-08-25 receive replacement agreement letter, sign and return that night.

Didn't hear back contact Bosch on 04-11-25, informed that refrigerator will be shipped this week, installed next week. We have been without a working fridge since 03-10-25, 35 days as of today.

We have had to go out and purchase free-standing freezer and mini fridge just to keep our perishables safe.

We also have medicine that needs to be refrigerated. Customer service is horrible and needs to be addressed. I am sure that no one would tolerate going without a refrigerator for 35 days much less longer, which is what is happening to us.

I have contacted the news here in Phoenix to report this issue.

At this point I would like a full refund, so that I can go and purchase a different brand and get it installed this week. I would also like to be refunded for the small freezer and mini fridge we have had to purchase due to your customer service inadequate solutions to this problem.

I purchased an electric cooktop two months ago. The service guy replaced the cooktop twice and the control panel twice.

It does not work and the Service Guy states he cannot come back. I don't blame him as this is ridiculous

Total lack of honest information about the products Purchased

Fridge, slide-in gas oven, hood vent, microwave and dishwasher.

1. Fridge, Called dealer about ice machine, not their problem.

Gave me 4 numbers to call, 2 were out of business, 3rd didn't service my area. The 4th, nice guy, said he never worked on a Bosch product before but all ice machine are the same. Wow !!! Thousands of dollars, everyone was mmmmm

Walk out the door, everyone was SUCKER.

You don't want to know the rest. Similar story's for all the products except the Dishwasher, but am waiting for it too, to die.

I bought a whole range of new Bosch appliances. The dryer started rusting on the body immediately.

It also stopped working after about 15 months. It would overheat about 30 seconds into any drying cycle, only working on no heat/fluff mode. We clearly received a defective product with rust all over the body, including the interior.

The field technician offered no solution, just wanted money from us to fix it. We asked, 'How are you going to fix a rusty body?' We wanted a replacement/exchange, but received zero response.

First, the instruction manual only included a quick version which didn't explain details or how to change settings (and didn't match options on equipment). I tried calling support and the recording said there was less than a 10 minute wait- 30+ minutes later, I hung up.

Then, I tried calling again; still, it was a 25 minute wait, so I hung up. I then called corporate - they didn't care, said that's all she has. I then called back and managed to talk to someone. I gave 2 stars because he was actually helpful.

As much as these dishwashers cost, you'd think they'd treat customers better.

Ooh! I am very annoyed and frustrated.

Nobody answers the phone at bosch power tool

Several months of calling I never got to talk to a person for bosch power tools. The only way to talk to a live person is to call their appliance repair line so if you're calling to schedule a time fit them to come out and get paid to fix their product they will not answer...I didn't just call once or twice I have tried to contact them for over 4 months hours and hours on the phone waiting with out one person answering. I have been a bosch customer for over 30 yrs and if I had experienced this 30+ years ago...I would have never bought another bosch tool
