Same problem....dishwasher is shipped after testing at factory. It has water in it when shipped to keep pump from drying out, so, it is disgusting stagnant water.
That smell won’t go away until you clean the dishwasher. I am told by appliance store owner. He said to put Tang into the bottom of an empty dishwasher and in the detergent dispenser. You can also use dishwasher cleaner.
Before u turn the dishwasher on, Run the water in your sink til it is as hot as it can get. Then set dishwasher for longest, hottest setting. After about an hour, open the door and let it stay open overnite. Resume to complete the cycle in the morning.
On regular cycles, open the dishwasher as soon as it is finished to minimize condensation and wet dishes.
I’m doing all this right now.... hope this helps anyone with the issue...I am told it is not just Bosch but many brands...all due to energy efficiency change
